TransCanada Calibrations is a measurement services organization that offers High Pressure Natural Gas Flow Meter Calibration and Technical Measurement Assistance to a international list of corporations in the Energy Sector – Transmission, Distribution, LNG, and Power Generation. TransCanada Calibrations measurement is traceable to Primary National Standards, and is recognized by Measurement Canada, the National Research Council of Canada, NMi of Holland and NIST of the USA through measurement inter-comparison; and operates to AGA 9, ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
Ultra Sonic Gas Meter
Canada’s largest transmission pipeline is the source of consistent, stabile gas flow for TransCanada Calibrations fully enclosed, environmentally controlled high pressure natural gas meter test facility. In fact TransCanada Calibrations is the worlds largest meter test facility by flow volume that is able to install and calibrate ANSI 600 – 2500 meters in sizes NPS 3 through NPS 42 year-round.
Turbine Meter Calibration

TransCanada Calibrations is the worlds largest meter test facility by flow volume and is able to install and calibrate ANSI 600 – 2500 turbine meters in sizes NPS 2 through NPS 24 year-round.
Rotary Meter Service
TransCanada Calibrations proivides turnkey rotary meter refurbishing and calibration services at its fully equipped meter cleaning and repair facility. Meter calibrations are performed against a traceable in-house IITF 4000 rotary meter prover. TCC's repair facility is centrally located in North America near Winnipeg, a continental logistics freight hub with complete fleet management, ware housing and logistic service availble.
Presure and Temperature
TransCanada Calibrations operates an accredited environmentally controlled primary standards pressure and temperature laboratory that serves the Energy, Aerospace, Biotech, and Scientific sectors. The instruments used for calibration are National Standard Quality, and are traceable to NRC Canada and/or NIST United States. The laboratory is operated according to ISO 17025 Standards.
